Merkur Spielbanken NRW is extending its commitment to horse racing in North Rhine-Westphalia and will continue to support the Düsseldorfer Reiter- und Rennverein and the Kölner Renn-Verein e.V.

The subsidiary of the Merkur Group is underlining its regional ties with the locations and catchment area of the Merkur casinos. In addition to Cologne and Düsseldorf, the Merkur casinos also present themselves at the international equestrian tournament CHIO in Aachen.

The company will continue to support the race days at the Cologne and Düsseldorf racecourses, which take place from March to November and inspire over 100,000 spectators every year. Merkur Spielbanken NRW is not only present on four race days, but the Merkur subsidiary also presents a race as its namesake at each of these events. The Fortuna race day kicked off on 23 March, when more than 8,000 spectators flocked to the racecourse in Düsseldorf-Grafenberg.
